pybright
PyBright™
PyBright™ is Brightmark’s ISCC PLUS-certified pyrolysis oil derived from difficult-to-recycle plastics that cannot be mechanically recycled. Brightmark’s process enables circularity for plastics, reduces waste, and lessens the need to use virgin resources.

The next generation of hydrocarbon feedstock
PyBright™ is derived from difficult-to-recycle post-use plastics and can serve as a valuable feedstock, displacing virgin fossil hydrocarbons. Resin producers can recover value from post-use plastics—enabling circularity for plastics and reducing waste.
Benefits:
- • Alternative virgin quality material to produce new plastics
- • Compatible with existing refining infrastructure
- • Increases recycled content and landfill diversion rates
- • Supports Extended Produce Responsibility (EPR) requirements

Built for real-world demand
PyBright™ is designed for industries actively seeking scalable, low-carbon alternatives to virgin fossil feedstocks. As recycling policies, customer expectations, and corporate sustainability commitments accelerate, demand for circular feedstocks is rapidly expanding. PyBright™ can meet this demand with a high-quality and commercially viable solution that integrates into existing supply chains—unlocking environmental progress.
How PyBright™ is made
1. Feedstock supply
Plastic is purchased from various post-consumer and post-industrial sources and delivered to our facility. It is then prepared for conversion by removing impurities, shredding, and pelletizing
2. Pyrolysis
The pelletized plastic material is then heated and vaporized in an oxygen-starved environment.
3. Condensation and refinement
Hydrocarbon vapors are condensed and refined into PyBright™, an ISCC PLUS-certified pyrolysis oil.
4. Quality control
PyBright™ quality is ensured by the Brightmark R&D Lab and by third-party certifiers.

ISCC PLUS Certification
ISCC PLUS is a voluntary certification program that validates the sustainability characteristics of alternative feedstocks.
- • Full-chain traceability, transparent information.
- • Accepted in EU and US markets, serving as a key raw material for circular plastics.
- • Third-party certification available, supports corporate ESG and sustainability.
