Let’s create a world without (medical plastic) waste

Certain plastics serve a critical purpose for various industries as well as for use in everyday life. While these plastics are essential, most are traditionally unrecyclable, ending up in landfills or incinerators at the end of their lifecycle.

Providing viable recycling solutions for medical plastics

Lewis Salvage

Based in Warsaw, Indiana, Lewis Salvage specializes in providing niche recycling services to the orthopedic industry. Lewis Salvage has developed a one-of-a-kind system that unpacks implants and mechanically separates the materials for recycling.

Lewis Salvage provides Brightmark with plastic that cannot be recycled via traditional recycling methods. By working with Lewis Salvage, we’re helping further divert waste from landfills by recycling the plastic into new, circular products.
