Making a mark
starts with you.

The environment is facing an ecological disaster—much of it caused by the actions of humankind. What it means to Make Your Mark.

We’re on a mission to Reimagine Waste—creating circular solutions to solve some of the world’s most pressing waste challenges. Our Make Your Mark page encourages you to get involved by taking little (or big) steps to create a world without waste by reducing your consumption, recycling materials properly, and educating others on being more sustainable.

Let’s create a brighter future together.

At Brightmark, we believe that individuals and groups alike can be the difference between a polluted planet and a clean one with the proper knowledge and tools. If you’re reading this, then you’ve come to the right place.

We are making our mark with our revolutionary plastics renewal solution—a truly circular approach that turns commingled plastics back into wax and oil that can be reused as anything from transportation fuel to new plastic.

We are striving to create a world without waste and know that we will contribute to making a difference through our efforts. We know we’re not alone in this effort. It takes all of us to make a difference and fight the world’s waste problem.

You already have what it takes to help Mother Earth within you. We hope this page provides inspiration, education, and the wisdom necessary to energize you and those you know to do what’s essential to help our planet.

Change starts here

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”

– Barack Obama

The power of purpose

Second chances are powerful. When someone embraces an opportunity to improve or to walk a different path, they can change their circumstances and inspire others around them to do the same.

Brightmark is committed to second chances, and that’s why we are proud of our ongoing partner RecycleForce. This Indianapolis-based social enterprise helps formerly incarcerated people reenter the workforce by training them for careers in recycling. Through RecycleForce’s program, individuals learn valuable skills, receive personal mentorship and coaching, and begin their acclimation back into the workforce while helping the environment.

We make our mark because we care

We believe in practicing what we preach—which is why we’re partnered with incredible businesses, organizations, and non-profits working to make a lasting positive impact on people and the planet.
