Eloy Circularity Center

About the project

The Eloy Circularity Center in Eloy, Arizona, will convert manure into renewable natural gas daily through the utilization of one large digester. When fully operational, the benefits of the Eloy Circularity Center include reducing greenhouse gas emissions each year and generating renewable gas annually. Developed in partnership with Chevron, Eloy is expected to begin producing in late 2023, with all RNG injected into the El Paso Natural Gas Pipeline owned by Kinder Morgan.

GHG REDUCTIONS

The net reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from the manure processed at the anaerobic digestion dairy farm projects at this project is equivalent to planting over 37,000 acres of forest every year.

WASTE TO NEW PRODUCTS

After the methane is extracted from the processed manure, the remaining soil nutrients will be returned to the farmers for use as fertilizer and water for forage crops for their cows.

Partners

Brightmark and Chevron co-developed the project via our joint venture, Brightmark RNG Holdings LLC. Chevron will purchase the RNG produced by the center and market it for use in compressed natural gas vehicles.
