Our first Plastics Renewal facility is under construction in Ashley, Indiana, population 975. This facility will divert 100,000 tons of plastic waste each year from landfills and incinerators and convert it into 18 million gallons of ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel and naphtha blend stocks and 6 million gallons of wax. That’s more plastic than the weight of 5,400 tractor-trailers.

Local Impacts

Job Creation
Over 130+ full-time manufacturing jobs will be created in Northeast Indiana when the facility is fully operational.
Economic Investment
Phase one of the plant’s construction will represent a $138.3M capital investment in Steuben County, Indiana.
Greenhouse Gas Reductions
The recycling facility will offset 6M metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions by 2025.
Resource Recovery
Plastics will be sourced from Indiana and Chicago-area waste and recycling companies, including curbside collection programs and post-industrial plastic scrap.
