Senior Project Manager

JOB DUTIES:

The Senior Project Manager for Brightmark, LLC at its facility in San Francisco, CA. Duties: developing capital and operations cost estimates for construction projects ranging from $10 million to $50 million. Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or Electrical engineering. Experience must include four (4) years post-bachelor’s progressive experience in all of the following: Analyzing feedstock type, amount, and quality to determine how much renewable natural gas and biogas could be produced. Conducting cost and benefit analyses of project components in support of construction projects to determine the highest, risk-adjusted, internal rate of return. Present technical decisions to management in a business format that identifies risks and outlines internal rate of return. Translate conceptual process flow diagrams, functional design specifications, and major equipment bill of materials into early project concepts, including defining any potential technical performance issues. Negotiate construction contracts and preferred terms and conditions, including liquidated damages, performance guarantees, and technical performance testing requirements. Applying understanding of the Federal Renewable Fuel Standard and California Low Carbon Fuel Standard programs to determine impact the company’s revenues. 20% travel. Education Requirements: 

 Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus on mechanical, civil, chemical, or electrical engineering, or foreign equivalent. 

Experience Requirements:

Experience must include four (4) years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience in all of the following:

Travel Required:

Yes – Domestic travel requirement. 

Frequency: On average travel will be required a couple times a month, for up to three nights at a time. Travel will be to agricultural or industrial settings, such as dairy farms, manufacturing facilities, etc. 

Area: Domestic 

Scope: 20-30% – Travel will require interfacing with agricultural entities such as dairy farms and walking through agricultural process such as dairy manure flow paths. Site visits will also encompass visiting technology vendor’s equipment installations at other facilities, such as gas upgrading and anaerobic digester installations.  

Salary:

$115,690/year
