Responsibilities
Business Development
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models used to determine the economic viability of waste to energy projects
- Perform due diligence for the acquisition of waste to energy projects
- Prepare periodic economic forecasts of monthly cash flow, net income, and taxable income for a project’s expected useful life
- Preparation of screening models for use by business development personnel
- Provide business development support
- Ad hoc financial analysis as requested
Financings
- Participate in the execution of debt and equity financings for renewable waste to energy projects
- Contribute to the execution of corporate debt and equity financings
- Prepare long term corporate economic valuation models and forecasts
- Coordinate due diligence and due diligence responses in connection with financings
- Assist in the management of key financing relationships, including joint venture partners, gas marketers, investment bankers, and lenders
Qualifications
- Experience and/or training in creating and maintaining financial pro forma models in MS Excel
- Ability to work and communicate effectively as a teammate in a rapidly growing, diverse, and entrepreneurial business environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field
- Prior experience in modeling tax benefits and expenses from energy or waste to energy projects
- MBA is a plus
- Prior experience in the project financing of energy, waste to energy, or infrastructure projects is a plus
