Business Development 

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models used to determine the economic viability of waste to energy projects 
  • Perform due diligence for the acquisition of waste to energy projects 
  • Prepare periodic economic forecasts of monthly cash flow, net income, and taxable income for a project’s expected useful life 
  • Preparation of screening models for use by business development personnel 
  • Provide business development support 
  • Ad hoc financial analysis as requested 


  • Participate in the execution of debt and equity financings for renewable waste to energy projects 
  • Contribute to the execution of corporate debt and equity financings 
  • Prepare long term corporate economic valuation models and forecasts 
  • Coordinate due diligence and due diligence responses in connection with financings 
  • Assist in the management of key financing relationships, including joint venture partners, gas marketers, investment bankers, and lenders 


  • Experience and/or training in creating and maintaining financial pro forma models in MS Excel 
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively as a teammate in a rapidly growing, diverse, and entrepreneurial business environment 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field 
  • Prior experience in modeling tax benefits and expenses from energy or waste to energy projects 
  • MBA is a plus 
  • Prior experience in the project financing of energy, waste to energy, or infrastructure projects is a plus
