Job Summary:

We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) or Plastics Operations & Maintenance team. The candidate is expected to support the team by planning, scheduling, and coordinating a broad spectrum of preventive, routine, repair and emergency maintenance activities at the Plant, using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as a primary tool. This role also supports Parts Clerk for the site.  

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Department Coordinators to ensure our mission and objectives are achieved for the plant and maintenance department 
  • Plan production schedules that included estimated hours required for job completion 
  • Directs team members for work orders in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility systems and repair of machinery, equipment and facility 
  • Directs maintenance personnel to ensure that all equipment systems operate at their highest capability to meet required production schedules 
  • Schedule priorities through MMS and WOs 
  • Assist in the development of operational standards and corrective action 
  • Develops, implements and review/audit site-specific maintenance logs  
  • Work with MSA (with support from Finance Controller) on establishing inventory controls (including required spare parts, min/max, cycle counts, VMI, etc) 
  • Provide maintenance training to include the effective utilization of the maintenance logs, completion of routine maintenance specific to facility, equipment operations and support 
  • Assist in maintaining maintenance records, such as PMs and process documents 
  • Involved with with safety training and monthly safety meeting 
  • Analyzes production downtime reports, determines opportunities, and initiates action plan to increase efficiencies when plant is in full operation 
  • Assist and partner with business leaders on implementation of process improvement 
  • Ensures that equipment and facility are maintained in a safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement/upgrade 
  • Performs other duties as assigned  
  • Accountable for maintaining a clean and safe workplace environment.   

Experience & Professional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressively increasing experience in maintenance and plant services 
  • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office Suite, with strong knowledge of Excel 
  • Effective communication skills in multiple settings and the ability to be an engaging change agent and culture – creator that can inspire and motivate 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions and recommendations 
  • Ability and proven record of accomplishment of working with diverse individuals at all levels to drive decision-making and results 
  • Dependable and team player  
  • Ability to consistency lift up-to 50lbs 
  • Ability to impact and influence results with personal interaction, guidance, and coaching 
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and work on a computer for lengthy periods of time during the workday.
